Hearing a lot of good reviews of this beautifully decorated restaurant located at Al Karama, I decided to visit Indian Summer with my family and friends.
The ambiance is so chic & classy that you will fall in love with the restaurant’s interior at the same point.
We ordered both vegetarian & non vegetarian options both.
Initially before we ordered we were served some welcome papad with mint chutney & onion pickle. To my surprise the pickle was already spoilt & had a foul smell.

Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms – This was just delicious & the only dish we all liked here at the restaurant honestly!
Maa Ki Daal – The daal that was served to us had no taste at all, it was completely blan and just plan boiled dal gravy. I really had no expectation that normal dal would turn out this way.
Chicken Biryani – I usually never write reviews on non vegetarian food but this was a bigger mistake so had to put it up. The Biryani that was served burnt! The rice below the biryani pot was all black burnt & the smell was super strong! And if the chef would have checked this, this situation wouldn’t have arised. On telling the staff members, they said this is the normal way of cooking Biryani! Burnt biryani being served..
The other negative point that I want to make out here, while we were leaving the restaurant, the staff just wiped my hand touched plate and kept it back on the table for the new customers. Is this not against the hygiene rules? I thought they were suppose to clean it in a proper way.
In the end, food is what makes people happy! If the food & service go hand in hand customers are always satisfied. The staff need to adhere to proper hygiene in front of the customers & behind the customers too. While the staff was serving us the restaurant was completely empty and the above incidents occurred. It is quiet pitiful to see this as people pay money for that little food that gives them happiness.
